Interesting title. Ok book. A little bit of a spoof on writers, mysteries and New England. Reminded me of some other funny books by male authors ("Something Missing" and "Millard Fillmore, Mon Amour"). Is that a genre - male humor writing? But I find that sometimes, in these books, the lead character seems so soft. You read these books, and they are enjoyable, but they aren't classics and won't stick with you for long. Maybe I need more Hemingway and Steinbeck.
Speaking of which, thanks to the new St. Louis Chicago book group, Camus might have to be next up on my list.
